About the Role:
English International School – Baghdad is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Junior School Homeroom Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for pupils, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the school curriculum.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and support.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages learning and curiosity.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support pupil development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

About the Role:
English International School – Baghdad is looking for a motivated KS3 English Teacher to inspire and support students in Years 7–9. The ideal candidate will have a passion for English, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to engage pupils in a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3.
- Assess and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Encourage independent learning and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enrich the English curriculum.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge and teaching experience at KS3 level.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A clear commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
