About the Role:
English International School – Baghdad is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Junior School Homeroom Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for pupils, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver lessons in line with the school curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and support.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages learning and curiosity.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support pupil development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

About the Role:
English International School – Baghdad is looking for a motivated KS3 English Teacher to inspire and support students in Years 7–9. The ideal candidate will have a passion for English, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to engage pupils in a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3.
  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Encourage independent learning and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enrich the English curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge and teaching experience at KS3 level.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
