Application Procedure:

To be considered for a position at The English International School – Baghdad, please submit the following documents as one complete file via email to hr@eis.edu.iq. Please ensure you include the position you are applying for in the subject line of your email.

  • Cover Letter – Please explain your interest in joining our team and highlight your passion for education and community service.
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) – Your CV should be up to date and clearly demonstrate a minimum of two years of full-time experience in the role you are applying for.
  • Teaching License (for teaching staff only) – Teachers must hold a valid teaching license from their country of origin, with at least two years of full-time teaching experience.
  • Reference Letters – Provide three reference letters, including complete contact details for each referee. In accordance with our safer recruitment policies, EIS – Baghdad will contact the schools or institutions that issued the reference letters, not the individual referees, to verify your references. We will only contact these references with your permission.
  • Criminal Background Check – You must submit a criminal background check from both your country of origin and your country of residence (where you have lived for the past five years). The background check should be recent, within the last six months.

Please Note: Due to the high volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a Zoom interview via email.
