Today, our students had the incredible opportunity to spend the day at Alleyn’s School, attending classes and engaging with their peers. They also gave a brief introduction to Iraq and its rich culture, sharing insights and experiences with enthusiasm. We are so proud of how they represented our school and their country—well done, EISB students!

This past weekend, we were thrilled to have Ms. Deeanna and Ms. Michelle represent our school at the prestigious York Press Conference in Egypt. Their participation is a testament to our school's commitment to providing our teachers and leaders with the best possible exposure to cutting-edge educational practices and theological insights.

We are proud to announce our Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with the American University of Iraq – Baghdad (AUIB). This partnership ensures that students with our qualifications can gain admission to AUIB, opening pathways to both local and international higher education. We are very grateful to the leadership team at AUIB for hosting the signing ceremony, and we look forward to fruitful collaboration through joint seminars, events, and activities that will enrich learning experiences and strengthen academic ties between our institutions.

We are delighted to announce that our school has been shortlisted for the Annual Independent Schools Association International Provision Award. This recognition reflects our commitment to providing outstanding international programmes, including Model United Nations conferences in England and France, our Cambridge trips, and participation in online competitions through our various accreditation bodies, including COBIS, BSME, and ISA. Our school continues to provide international opportunities never before seen in Iraq.

The English International School-Baghdad has proven itself to be in a league of its own as the first and only International School in Iraq to be recognised by The British Government. We announce with great pride and honour that The Council of Ministries has determined that our school is now permanently accredited by The Council of Ministries. We were delighted to meet the regional team of Pearson in Dubai where we explored and planned our strategic partnership as the pioneer Pearson accredited school in Iraq. Mr. Tim Shanahan, EISB Curriculum Manager, briefed the Pearson team about our challenges, our achievements and our future plans. Ms. Kathryn Booth, Regional Director ( Middle East, North Africa, Pakistan and Turkey) welcomed the visit and expressed appreciation to EISB and offered her continuing support to our school.
